Rebuild Activities
Posted on Apr 16th, 2018

Friday evening, April 6, 2018, the Centreville Farms Community Association (CFCA) clubhouse was damaged in an accidental fire.
The Board of Directors, County Officials, and many important representatives from our Insurer, Restoration Company and more have provided the CFCA excellent support.  Here are some updates:
  • Restoration Activities began immediately on the morning of April 7, 2018
  • Our Insurance company's assessment was affirmed with builders and the restoration company in agreement: The clubhouse building is a total loss.
  • Restoration, estimation, underwriting and evaluating the road ahead is our current, number one project related to the loss.
  • One we have come to a conclusion on the scope of new work, demolition work will be scheduled.  Expect the actual clubhouse demolition to take 1-2 weeks.
  • Following Demolition, planning, contracting and the rebuild will take place.
  • The rebuild will take months.
  • Because of the above, we do not expect there will be a swim season in 2018.
The Swim team is making alternative plans. Parents, if you want your children to swim this year, browse http://swimfaircrest.com and look for our plans for the children this summer. Practices and swim meets are expected!
