CLUBHOUSE NEWS
The office at the clubhouse is closed on Monday, April 21, 2025. Staff will be at the Sequioa Main Office all day.
New Landscaping Service
Recently the board has contracted with Premier Landscape Services. They are the new provider for the community landscaping, grounds maintenance and snow removal. This change has saved the community about $20,000 annually on their budgeted grounds maintenance services. The board looks forward to their relationship with Premier Landscaper Services.
In addition to the community services, the board negotiated with Premier to offer services to each owner for mowing and edging of the individual lots. This service is provided at the owner's expense, and each owner will be responsible for coordinating the service with Premier and all payments for the service. The homeowner's association or board is not responsible for any disputes related to services, payments, or other matters between Premier and the homeowner. This service was requested to provide an option to the community and to allow the services to be on the same schedule as the community. The service agreement can be found here to get this service set up. You can reach out to Premier to arrange a meeting to determine the exact cost for your lot. Their phone number is 703-754-3326.

Community Reminders
Bus Stops - Parents please walk your children to the bus stop. There are too many cars collecting around the bus stops in the morning and afternoons. We haven't heard of any accidents, and we want to keep it that way!
Pet Waste- Please pick up after your pets! There has been an increase in complaints regarding residents not picking up their pet's waste. Fairfax County's "Pooper Scooper" Law states, "It shall be unlawful for the owner of any animal or animals to keep such animal or animals in such a manner as to cause unsanitary conditions. The owner or custodian of any dog shall be responsible for the removal of excreta deposited by such dog on the property of another, including public places." Fairfax County will fine pet owners up to $250 for failure to comply with this law. The Association can also impose fines for failure to abide per the Association's Pet Policy.
We ask that you do not place trash in the pet waste stations. They are used strictly for pet waste. Trash cans are located very close to the stations.
