Centreville Farms Board Information
 
The Centreville Farms Community Association would like to thank each of the homeowners for their participation in the community.  
 
The board currently has five board members as listed below with their term dates included:
Sathish Mallamula (2024-2027) - President 
Lawrence Eng (2022-2025) - Vice President
Murali Gottumukalla (2023-2026) - Treasurer
Pravin Kanchan (2022-2025) - Secretary
Jahangeer Shaik (2024-2027) - Member at Large
 
Currently the board is meeting in person at the Centreville Farms Clubhouse, 5401 Calamint Court, Centreville, VA 20210 on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm.  Meetings are open to the owners of Faircrest HOA and Faircrest Community Association and the board is here to listen to and need advice from all owners.  During each meeting the board holds a resident forum for owners to address the board.  The board plans to move this to the beginning of the agenda to allow owners to speak first during board meetings.
 
The current board is looking forward to working together and continuing the improvement of the community for the foreseeable future. Every community needs volunteers and homeowners to make the community a great place to live and we look forward to working with all of you!

Traffic Safety
 
A reminder to all residents.  School is out and the summer has begun.  Please keep watch for children playing in our community and use extreme caution.  Stop signs must be taken seriously.  The Fairfax County Police Department will be observing traffic safety on a regular schedule.

Pool Passes for Summer 2024
 
The CFCA pool opened on Saturday, May 25th, 2024.  The pool's operating hours are daily from Sunday through Saturday at 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
 
We are using the PoolEntry system again this year.  Step by step instructions can be found here.  Please read the instructions carefully.
 
If you used the PoolEntry app last year, you’ll need to reapply for new passes again this year.  PoolEntry is releasing an updated mobile app prior to the pool opening. In the meantime, please use the web version of the app to access your pool passes.
 
Please do not download the previous version of the app currently available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. PoolEntry will send out a notification when the new version of the app is ready for download.  If you still have the app on your phone from last year, please remove it. 
 
Tenants can now apply for passes in the system.  A copy of the current lease agreement will need to be sent to CentrevilleFarms@sequoiamanagement.com
or dropped off at the clubhouse, prior to approving tenant's applications.

CLUBHOUSE NEWS

The Centreville Farms onsite assistant is located at the clubhouse part time.
 
The hours are as follows:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

CLUBHOUSE RENTALS
 
Reservations are filling up quickly.  Call today!
 
Clubhouse rentals are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis after the rental fee is received. Requests for rentals must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.  Last minute requests require an additional $50.00 fee due to the rush request.  The rental fee is determined by the duration of the rental. Current availability can be viewed by clicking on "Community Calendar". 
 
To reserve the clubhouse for an event, please complete the first two pages of the CFCA rental agreement and send the completed form to: Mary Fairbanks at CentrevilleFarms@sequoiamanagement.com, or you may drop off the agreement and check at the clubhouse during office hours.
 
 
FAIRFAX COUNTY RECYCLING PROGRAM

WASTE DISPOSAL SCHEDULE
 
For both FCA and FHA Communities, from April 1st to December 24th, yard waste is collected on Saturdays. Grass clippings and leaves must be set out for pickup in bio-degradable PAPER (10 maximum) bags or in a personal trash container clearly marked “yard waste” on both sides.  Tree limbs and brush must be tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet in length and 6 inches in diameter.  Bundles or items that are bagged cannot exceed 50 pounds.  Yard waste does not include stumps, rocks, dirt, sod, gravel, mulch, whole trees, or clean-up from storm damage.  Collection of these items may be provided for an additional charge.

The next annual CFCA meeting will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
 
The next CFCA meeting will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
It will be held at the clubhouse at 5401 Calamint Court.
 
 
CFCA Director's meetings are conducted in order and in accordance to Roberts Rules of Order, revised. We adopt a casual interpretation of the rules of order.  Attendance, meeting minutes and a formal record of our activities takes place at our meetings.
 
FAIRCREST HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
 
The FHA Board of Directors meet at 7:00 pm on the third Wednesday of the month.
 
The next annual FHA meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
 
The next FHA board of directors meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.  This meeting will be conducted via Zoom.  If you are a homeowner in Faircrest Homeowners Association, please contact CentrevilleFarms@sequoiamgmt.com for the Zoom link.

Community Reminders
 
Bus Stops - Parents please walk your children to the bus stop.  There are too many cars collecting around the bus stops in the morning and afternoons. We haven't heard of any accidents, and we want to keep it that way!
 
Pet Waste- Please pick up after your pets! There has been an increase in complaints regarding residents not picking up their pet's waste.  Fairfax County's "Pooper Scooper" Law states, "It shall be unlawful for the owner of any animal or animals to keep such animal or animals in such a manner as to cause unsanitary conditions. The owner or custodian of any dog shall be responsible for the removal of excreta deposited by such dog on the property of another, including public places."  Fairfax County will fine pet owners up to $250 for failure to comply with this law.  The Association can also impose fines for failure to abide per the Association's Pet Policy. 
 
We ask that you do not place trash in the pet waste stations.  They are used strictly for pet waste.  Trash cans are located very close to the stations.
